What is a Retreat Yourself Box?

The Retreat Yourself Box is a seasonal subscription box filled with 10-15 sample and full sized health and wellness products with a focus on natural and organic Australian brands. All products are sourced with your best interests in mind and will include items such as edible health foods and supplements, bath and body products, beauty products, and possibly even lifestyle products. Each box of products is different and will be tailored towards that season.

The box will also contain the RY wellness guide which includes healthy recipes, a yoga/stretch/workout routine or workout and lifestyle articles from a range of health and wellness gurus across the globe. There will also be a Retreat Yourself Day Plan, which explains how you can create your own ‘at home retreat’ using the products and guide featured within the box.

The box is designed so that you can discover new and exciting brands without having to leave your home, but also captures the whole reason we are interested in health – to improve our lives! We create the boxes to help you reach your highest state of wellness, and also encourage you to use the day plan and take some quality time out for you.

What is the difference between a Retreat Yourself Subscription Box and Once Off Box?

If you subscribe to receive a Retreat Yourself Box via subscription, you will receive a box at the start of each season (Summer December 1, Autumn March 1, Winter June 1, Spring September 1). A payment of $49.95 + shipping will be withdrawn from your account every 3 months. If you purchase that seasons box AFTER the release date of that season (eg. Sept 1st), your next payment will be aligned to come out approximately ONE WEEK before the start of the next season.

Ie. Winter Box purchased on June 16th – Shipped the following Tuesday

 Payment for Spring Box withdrawn August 22nd (One week before next shipment date). Spring box shipped  – September 1st

Payment for Summer withdrawn November 22nd. Summer Box shipped December 1st

If you purchase a yearly subscription, your payment will be withdrawn every year from the date of purchase, and you will receive four seasonal Retreat Yourself Boxes per year – one for each season.

If you purchase a Once Off Retreat Yourself Box, your box will be shipped either at the start of the season (if you pre-ordered the box) or on the Tuesday following payment (if you purchased during that current season). Only one payment of $59.95 + shipping will be withdrawn and one box will be shipped.

If I subscribe, when will my next payment be withdrawn?

If you subscribe BEFORE the release date of that next season, your payment will be withdrawn 3 months following your first payment date. If you subscribe AFTER the release date, your next payment will be aligned to come out approximately ONE WEEK prior to next seasons shipping date.

For example: Winter Box purchased on June 16th – Shipped the following Tuesday

How much does it cost?

If you subscribe to receive a Retreat Yourself Box on a seasonal basis, it is $49.95 plus shipping per season. A once off box purchase is $59.95 + shipping.

Because of the size of the Retreat Yourself Box, shipping is an additional $9.95 to ensure that it arrives safely.

When you subscribe to the seasonal plan, you will be billed every 3 months. If you subscribe BEFORE the release date of that next season, your payment will be withdrawn 3 months following your first payment date. If you subscribe AFTER the release date, your next payment will be aligned to come out approximately ONE WEEK prior to next seasons shipping date.

For example:

Ie. Winter Box purchased on June 16th – Shipped the following Tuesday

 Payment for Spring Box withdrawn August 22nd (One week before next shipment date). Spring box shipped  – September 1st

Payment for Summer withdrawn November 22nd. Summer Box shipped December 1st

If you prepay a yearly subscription, it is a one off payment each year of $220.00 included shipping. This will be billed each year on the same day of initial payment.

How many boxes do I get per year?

When you subscribe on a seasonal basis or purchase a prepaid year subscription, you will receive four boxes per year. One at the start of each season – Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring.

If you purchase a Once Off Box, you will receive ONE box.

When will I receive my Retreat Yourself Box?

If you subscribe to Retreat Yourself Box, it will be shipped on the 1st day of the season following. Ie. Summer December 1st, Autumn March 1st, Winter June 1st, Spring September 1st. OR if it’s purchased during that season, it will be shipped the following Tuesday.

If you pre-order a once off box, it will be shipped on the release date of the season you purchased it for. If you purchase a single box during that season, it will be shipped the following Tuesday.

The release dates for each seasonal box are:

Summer – December 1st

Autumn – March 1st

Winter – June 1st

Spring – September 1st

You can expect to receive your box up to 7 days after delivery date.

Should the 1st fall on a weekend, we will post the Monday following.

I just wanted one Retreat Yourself box, why have I been charged again?

Retreat Yourself is a subscription service, just like when you subscribe to a magazine – you will continue to pay for, and receive the service until you decide to cancel. If you have only purchased a once off box – you will only be billed for that one purchase.

I love this product, where can I buy it?

Any products that you love that are within the box will be featured on our webpage – both within the ‘Partners’ page, and also within the page which allows you to see previous boxes. You will be able to be linked through to their website through ours.

You will also find the product list document in the box.

Can I choose what’s in my box?

No you can’t choose what’s in your box, however after you’ve gone through the checkout you will log into your account and complete your ‘Health profile’ form, it helps us know a lot more about you and what you like. Also, every time you ‘Review’ your box – we find out more and more on how to tailor the box just for you!

Please note than even though we do take your special requirements into consideration, all boxes will be generic so we cannot completely tailor to your needs.

How does Retreat Yourself choose what goes in the box?

Our team here at Retreat Yourself have a background in holistic health, nutrition and fitness, so we are fully equipped and always on the hunt for products that are great for you. We always choose brands that are aligned with our core beliefs and values, and that have the same vision as us.

Our focus is on natural and organic brands within Australia. We believe in whole health, and looking after the body and mind, so we always have your best health interests in mind.

What if I have any special conditions? i.e. allergies/vegan/skin conditions?

After you’ve purchased your box, you will be invited to complete your health profile within your login area. This will enable you to advise us of any special conditions you have. Although we will try our very best to avoid including these products in your box, we cannot guarantee that these things can be fully avoided.

Is everything in the box organic or vegan?

Retreat Yourself has a strong focus on natural and organic products, and strongly supports vegan and organic trade, however we cannot 100% guarantee that every product will be 100% organic or vegan. We always ensure that we understand how the product was manufactured before including them within our box, and only align with companies that share our same values and are kind to the environment.

One of the products is damaged or missing, can I get it replaced?

Please contact us at info@retreatyourselfbox.com if anything within your box has been damaged or is missing. We will investigate the issue and will review your case to decide what sort of replacement is appropriate. Please ensure that you contact us within four weeks from the date your box has been shipped as we are only able to process replacement requests within this time.

What is the Retreat Yourself cancellation policy?

If you are on the seasonal $49.95 subscription, you will need to cancel your subscription at least 2 days before your next payment is due to be withdrawn. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled by emailing info@retreatyourselfbox.com or logging into your account and requesting to cancel. If you do not cancel your subscription more than 2 days prior to payment date, your payment will be processed for the next season’s box, and your box will be shipped to you.

How do I cancel my subscription?
If you want to cancel your subscription, please contact our team at info@retreatyourselfbox.com and we will cancel the subscription. OR you can cancel by logging into your account and requesting cancellation.

How can i change my account details? i.e. update my bank details or postal address

To change any details, please contact us at info@retreatyourselfbox.com and we will advise of the correct steps. Please ensure that all details are changed prior to five days before shipment (Five days before the 1st of that season) to ensure that payments are processed properly and goods are shipped correctly.

Do you ship internationally?

Please contact us at info@retreatyourselfbox.com for shipping costs if you’re not in Australia and would like to purchase a Retreat Yourself Box.

When will my box arrive?

If you have subscribed to Receive a Retreat Yourself Box at the start of each season, your box will arrive approximately within 7 days of shipping (the 1st day of every season) depending on where your shipping address is.

If you have pre-ordered a once off box, it will be shipped at the start of the following season. If you purchase the box during that season, it will be shipped the following Tuesday and will arrive within approximately 7 days.

How can i change my account details? i.e. update my bank details or postal address

To change your bank account details, you will need to log in to PayPal and update your details. For all other changes, please contact us at info@retreatyourselfbox.com. Please ensure that all details are changed prior to five days before payment is due to ensure that payments are processed properly and goods are shipped correctly.

If I subscribe after the start of the season, when is my shipping date?

If you decide you want to purchase the seasonal box that has just been released, you will be able to make a Once Off Purchase OR subscribe of that season’s Retreat Yourself Box which will be shipped on the following Tuesday.

There is only ONE box released each season.

If I gift a box to a friend, can I include a personalised note?

Absolutely! As a part of the payment process, there is a field where you can include a personalised note and any other information you’d like known about your gift.

MEMBERSHIP

What is your refund policy?

Retreat Yourself does not offer refunds for any boxes, and will not accept returned boxes. This includes no partial refunds for a prepaid year subscription. If there are extreme circumstances as to why the box will need to be refunded, Retreat Yourself will review your case at its discretion.

What payment options do you accept?

We use PayPal, where you can either use your PayPal account or credit/debit card.

If I do a review on the previous box, do I automatically receive a free gift in my next box?

To be eligible to receive a free gift in your next box, you will need to review the full Retreat Yourself Box. Each field within the review form will need to be complete.

What is the purpose of doing a review?

The purpose of doing a review of your Retreat Yourself box is so that we can gain valuable information about what YOU, as the customer, are looking for in a product such as ours. It helps us know what’s important to you. Because we take all feedback from you very seriously, providing us with feedback about your Retreat Yourself Box will help you to customise and build a product you absolutely LOVE. It’s a win/win!
